Agenda for the 1st OECD Roundtable on Smart Cities and Inclusive Growth
The OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities kicked off the first Roundtable on Smart Cities and Inclusive Growth to discuss the role of smart cities, as well as associated opportunities and benefits for the well-being of city residents.
On July 9, 2019, the Roundtable convened key stakeholders from cities, regions, national governments, the private sector, civil society, academia, philanthropy and international organisations. The Roundtable included a series of sessions and panel discussions that focused on redefining the concept of smart cities within the context of digital innovation, measuring how smart cities perform and deliver outcomes for their citizens, and guiding policy makers in their efforts to reshape city governance, business models and stakeholder engagement.
