This Mayors panel, moderated by Dr. Kate Graham, Director of Research at the Canadian Urban Institute, engages three mayors on their municipalities’ experiences on the front line of COVID-19 response at a local level. Focusing on the municipal response to COVID-19 from a public space, service delivery and civic asset management perspective, this discussion highlights the ‘hacks’ that have allowed municipalities to continue supporting their communities, as well as key learnings that can be applied to improve the quality of service residents receive in the post-pandemic future.
