Outdoor education and play is a source of powerful learning outcomes and is critical for healthy childhood development, health and wellness, and a sense of belonging.
As resilient as they are, this hasn’t been an easy time for students. While schools grapple with how to engage students virtually and re-open in-person learning safely, here at Evergreen Brick Works, we too have been working hard to remain true to the principle tenets guiding our Education practice.
Join us on a Nature Play tour, as we provide a peek at a couple of the types of outdoor education programs that demonstrate a commitment to healthy risk taking, connecting students to nature and cultivating a sense of community.
