Professor Naomi Lightman, University of Calgary, explores issues of social, racial, and spatial exclusion in rental housing in Toronto using GIS and disaggregated race-based and other social data from the 2016 Census of Population. Professor Lightman previews findings from a new study with Social Planning Toronto, using visual data to aid in meaningful social policy change.
